Picture a school organized around real-world problems that require the flexible application of concepts and skills with an eye toward identifying and developing kids’ passions. There is a combination of structure and “messing about." Students engage in a variety of experiences that ask them to contribute to building a healthy, sustainable and just world. Wow. Upcoming Events

An updated Book Benefactor Book List is now available. Donate a book of your choice to the Douglas Library and honor your child or a staff member with an inscription of your choice. Choose a book from the Book Benefactor List and complete the Book Benefactor Program Form from the following link: Book Benefactor Form & Book List . Mark your calendar for a free presentation on "How Outdoor Play Prepares Children for Academic Success". The presentation is scheduled on Tuesday, May 21st from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Congregation Beth Elohim. More information may be found at the following link: Outdoor Play . The Spring 2019 Enrichment Program information is now available. See the links below to access class descriptions and registration forms. All registrations are due Monday, March 18th. Elementary Ensemble Enrichment: Grade 5 & 6 Ensemble Enrichment for 2018-2019 school year will now include Band, Strings and Chorus. Students will have a demonstration prior to the end of this school year so they can choose which they would like to do.
